We are proud to present this very special evening for artists, by artists, to support Culture & Community in NYC.
Patrons of the Arts are invited to support the organization at an experiential cross-genre exhibition for the Yalda (Solstice) Winter Salon in Little Italy, NYC at Manero's on Mulberry to support the Arts and Cultural programming of the Trops Foundation. Join us for an immersive evening of:
- Visual and performing arts
- Readings, music, and cultural programming
- A Persian–Afghan catered dinner by EatOffbeat
- Release of Trops Magazine Issue 02
All proceeds support Trops’ nonprofit cultural programming, artist resources, and public arts initiatives.

Trops Magazine Issue 02
Through artist portraits, interviews, essays, and visual stories, this issue maps the soul of contemporary Bohemia and the people who live it today. Issue 02 is both a cultural document and an invitation to look closer at the world of creative expression, a celebration of the artists who further the bohemian spirit found at the intersection of art and humanity.

WINTER SALON HOLIDAY GALA
Yalda (Solstice)
Yalda, also referred to as Chelleh, celebrates the sunrise after the longest night of the year. Ancient Persians believed that evil forces were strongest on the longest and darkest night of the year, and celebrate Yalda to welcome back the Sun by gathering together for eating, drinking and reading poetry through the night.
